With the Euro and the pound now equal Gibraltar offers the most attractive deals for sailing in the sunshine of the Mediterranean.
The currency in Gibraltar is UK pounds, therefore the losses seen by booking with sailing schools in Europe in Euros are not seen when booking in Gibraltar.

LYC hosted there annual fun race on Sunday the 28th December. Prizes were awarded to all competing boats, we unfortunately did not win the best Santa prize, instead having to gracefully accept the worst spinnaker hoist award!!

Seawolf and her crew sailed to victory this weekend at Sotogrande, they took first place ahead of there rivals "Fendemaris" by 2 minutes 24 seconds. This was the final race for 2008 so it was a great effort to finish in first place at the end of the year.
