Posted by: Dave Latham, on: Tuesday, May 18, 2010

Saturday 15th May saw the first of our Race training workshops for 2010. With a fresh 20 knot Westerly breeze blowing we sailed across Gibraltar bay towards Algeciras with full main and No3 set. Exhilarating sailing followed on the way across towards the Straits of Gibraltar once the 1.5oz Flanker was hoisted and set. David Parody of www.dotcom.gi came out to photo us and took some awsome pics which can be viewed on our Gallery.
If you would like to join us for our next training session please contact us for available dates.

UK Halsey agents in Gibraltar

Posted by: Dave Latham, on: Wednesday, May 05, 2010

Atlantic Charters Racing are proud to announce that we are now agents for UK Halsey Sails.

UK Halsey Spain are based in Torremolinos (Malaga) and are able to offer an unequaled service for quality, price and importantly after sales care.

Pictured above is the tape drive No 3 supplied by UK Halsey flown on Seawolf during the recent Alboran Regatta, without doubt this lightweight, high performance, powerful sail was a major contributing factor to our boat speed and success in the blustery conditions. The choppy sea state and frequent large waves required a sail that gave power whilst still enabling a high pointing angle, the carbon Tape Drive delivered both of these requirements faultlessly.
UK Halsey also manufacture sails in less technical fabrics, all cutting and sewing being done in Malaga.
If you require a quote, a chat or your yacht measuring for sails please contact me directly or Andy@ukspain.com and please visit www.ukspain.com to view the full range of sails and services available.
