RYA Day Skipper Fast track

Two Week RYA Day Skipper Theory and Practical

Start 2019 off with some new skills. Our RYA combined Day Skipper practical plus theory sailing courses offer great value.

The Day Skipper qualification is a very important stepping stone for new sailors, enabling you to safely sail a known yacht in familiar waters during the hours of day light. Once completed you will be automatically entitled to apply for your International Certificate of Competence, a must have if you intend to charter a yacht for example for flotilla use in Greece, Turkey, Croatia etc.

The advantage of taking the two week day skipper practical plus theory course is the concentration of learning, the theory course will be fresh in your mind when you get out sailing in the Mediterranean during your practical week, assisting you in the passage planning, pilotage, tidal calculations etc.
