RYA Start Yachting Course
The RYA Start Yachting course is designed to help you find out if sailing yachts is for you. No previous experience is required and the course is run for 2 days, usually over a weekend.

This 2 day Start Yachting course is intended to introduce the total novice, with limited or no experience of sailing whatsoever, into the world of Sailing.
The RYA Start Yachting course is a practical one, taking place on board a cruising yacht. The course lasts a minimum of 2 days, during which time you will experience steering a yacht, sail handling, ropework and become aware of safety on board.
These 2 days also count towards the 5 days required for the next level course which is RYA Competent Crew.
RCN La Linea hosted the first race of the 2013 Inter club yacht racing series. This is the third year of the ever popular series, with a total entry of 40 yachts. A fresh westerly breeze in the Bay of Gibraltar, promised for a lively days racing. Shortly after mid day the 2 lap race of the windward/leeward course was started, with a constant 20 knots of breeze and gusts registering 30 knots.
