Yachtmaster preparation week

Cost:                                                    £550.00 per person per week (5days/4nights)

Yachtmaster Exam:                           £125.00 (1 Day)

Examination fee:                                £194.00 (2012 increase) payable direct to RYA

Location:                                              Gibraltar Bay

Minimum Previous Experience:     50 days, 2500 miles, 50% in tidal waters, 5 passages of at least 60 miles(2 as Skipper) including 2 overnight & 5 days as skipper.

Course Content:

Candidates will be set tasks to demonstrate their ability as skipper of an offshore cruising yacht and may also be asked questions on any part of the syllabus for all courses except Yachtmaster Ocean. Training will be given specifically to areas assessed that appear to be weak.

Duration 5 days / longer by request.

Practical courses include: accommodation onboard, use of lifejackets & foul weather clothing, marina fees & fuel. All breakfasts and lunches are provided and 2 evening meals.
