Dave Latham

Dave Latham is in his element when out at sea, he has been sailing since the age of 11and brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience in all aspects of sailing, enabling him to put the newcomer to sailing at ease as well as put the potential Yachtmasters through their paces.His background is offshore yacht racing, cutting his teeth in the hostile waters of the Irish Sea. More recently he has been involved in worldwide yacht deliveries, skippering yachts for PYD, enabling him to give potential yachtmasters looking to go on and work within the industry, first hand advice and knowledge. Whatever you need to know about sail trim, boat speed, spinnaker handling and above all safety, Dave is the man to speak to.

Sean Furney

Sean Furney operates his own Sailing School in Cadiz and works with us on a freelance basis, selected by the RYA to examine Yachtmasters. Sean has a natural sailing ability and an obvious love of sailing, often lost in seasoned instructors.

Martin Riley is probably the most relaxed sailing instructor you will ever have the pleasure of sailing with. His calm, friendly approach will put you at ease the moment you meet. He began sailing on dinghies and has now progressed to Yachts, owning his own immaculately maintained Jeanneau 36i performance "Moonraker"

Martins passion for sailing, wide range of knowledge and experience, results in clients returning again and again to advance there personal sailing ability's under Martins guidance.

Simon Hayes
RYA Cruising Instructor

Simon Hayes is our newest instructor, he gained his Yachtmaster qualification in 2008, after spending 20 years of gentle cruising to build up his experience!! Simons patient and easy going approach to sailing is reflected in his teaching style, knowledgeable, precise and cheerful. Being a retired Police Inspector, Simon has excellent interpersonal skills and a very broad and reasoned approach to problems and tricky situations.
