Rolex Middle Sea Race 2010

After 4 days and 10 hours Seawolf finished the 2010 Rolex Middle Sea Race in 4th place in class, missing a third place position by only 6 minutes. The race gave the crew the most challenging conditions, from 40 knot winds to dead calm with frequent electrical storms thrown in for good measure. Everybody on board sailed to the highest standard to achieve this result and Seawolf coped with the weather gracefully and finishing with no mayor damage and a fully intact sail wardrobe. Class 4 victory went to the Maltese boat Artie, a J122, well done to all the crew , who narrowly missed winning IRC overall after Lucky a TP52 pipped them on the last leg home.

Seawolf will be leaving Maltas shores on Monday, for the 1000 mile, milebuilding journey home.
