The Coastal race prior to the main race on Saturday proved a testing time for the 27 competing boats, a light wind start soon progressed into a 20 knot beat to the windward marks, once rounded a tornado built over the land then headed out to sea , taking out 2 boats in it’s path, one dis masted and the other OK.
