The interclub yacht race series is ideal for people looking to “have a go” at racing at low cost and without the pressure or stress of a full on serious league race. With races scheduled once a month throughout the year they make a great social event as well as fun sailing. They will also act as ideal training days for forthcoming regattas. Price for the full day is only £130.00, this includes dinner and drinks in the host yacht clubs after racing. Ceuta races will include sailing over Friday evening and returning on Saturday evening or Sunday morning accomodation onboard both nights if reqd.

    • 24th March RCM Sotogrande – Weather forced race to be cancelled

WiFi in Tunisia

Seawolf and Bongani are currently hiding from bad weather in the fishing port of Tabarka, Tunisia. After an eventful trip from Gibraltar with 50 knot winds, electrical storms, broken forestay, ripped mainsails and Algerian gunships, the crews are taking some well earned R+R. Wifi and fuel are available but only with a tight squeeze between the local fishing boats(see above). We plan to set sail again in the morning with an eta in Malta midday...

Sailing from Almerimar Southern Spain

After a brief stop to clean the bottom of Bongani, re-fuel and top up the water, the 2 Pronavias are now continuing their mile building trip to Malta. The differance in fuel consumption for the same boat speed over 22 hours was quite amazing. Bongani used 60 litres whilst Seawolf used a modest 38 litres for the exact same distance, just going to show the importance of a clean hull and propellor. Next stop...
