18 JANUARY 2020 – CLUB NÁUTICO SALADILLO
The interclub yacht race series is ideal for people looking to “have a go” at racing at low cost and without the pressure or stress of a full on serious league race. With races scheduled once a month throughout the year they make a great social event as well as fun sailing. They will also act as ideal training days for forthcoming regattas. Price for the full day is only £130.00, this includes dinner and drinks in the host yacht clubs after racing. Ceuta races will include sailing over Friday evening and returning on Saturday evening or Sunday morning accomodation onboard both nights if reqd.

The weekend of the 15th/16th May sees our next race training weekend take place here in Gibraltar Bay. Covering: Spinnaker hoists, drops, gybes Up wind trimming, for speed or height Short windward / leeward course tactics Crew positions on race yachts Cost £180.00 per person The course is aimed at Fasttrackers, Yachtmasters, Instructors, Principals or anybody with an interest in points of sailing not normally covered by the RYA syllabus. Seawolf and her crew enjoyed a fantastic weekends sailing in the 33rd Alboran Regatta. Taking first place overall after 2 races, a light airs trip from El Candado to the Isle of Alboran and back to Motril (fleet abandoned due to diminished wind). Then a 40+ mile beat up to Candado from Motril in blustery 25+knots of wind.
