Gibraltar Regatta 2008 This years Gibraltar regatta was blessed with ideal sailing conditions for all 3 scheduled yacht races. The “Round the Rock race” started with a beat to Algeciras, Atlantic Charters entry Seawolf took advantage of the port biased line and made a text book Port tack start, clearing the bows of the whole fleet who set off on starboard tack. After 9 races against stiff competition, Puma Logic’s final position was 2nd in class. Victory went to Peter Newland and his crew on there well sailed Beneteau 40.7 “Anticipation”.
