Race training weekend Gibraltar / Sailing May 2010
Saturday 15th May saw the first of our Race training workshops for 2010. With a fresh 20 knot Westerly breeze blowing we sailed across Gibraltar bay towards Algeciras with full main and No3 set. Exhilarating sailing followed on the way across towards the Straits of Gibraltar once the 1.5oz Flanker was hoisted and set. Sotogrande to Ceuta yacht Race
Our next yacht race is from Sotogrande to Ceuta on the 22nd May 2010 We will be sailing from Gibraltar to Sotogrande on Friday evening around 1730 The race starts at 1100 on Saturday morning and should take approx 3hrs. After the race we will be sailing back to Gibraltar to arrive at approx 1800.
