18 JANUARY 2020 – CLUB NÁUTICO SALADILLO
The interclub yacht race series is ideal for people looking to “have a go” at racing at low cost and without the pressure or stress of a full on serious league race. With races scheduled once a month throughout the year they make a great social event as well as fun sailing. They will also act as ideal training days for forthcoming regattas. Price for the full day is only £130.00, this includes dinner and drinks in the host yacht clubs after racing. Ceuta races will include sailing over Friday evening and returning on Saturday evening or Sunday morning accomodation onboard both nights if reqd.

Seawolf Wins The Gibraltar Regatta
Two days racing in the Bay of Gibraltar in glorious sunshine and light to fresh sea breezes made the 18th annual Gibraltar regatta a very successful event. The first race on Saturday was The Round the Rock race, starting at the aero buoy with a windward leeward leg to Rinconcillo beach and back then around Europa point, up to the Eastern aero buoy then finishing outside the new RGYC club house. After over 2000 miles sailing and 5 countries visited Seawolf is now safely back in Gibraltar having competed in the 2014 Giraglia Cup. Our final position was 7th in ORC class B, a great result achieved by a fantastic crew who all contributed 100% effort to squeeze the maximum possible boat speed from Seawolf in predominantly light winds, not suited to the Pronavia 38.
