Rolex Middle Sea Race/ Coastal race 2009
The Coastal race prior to the main race on Saturday proved a testing time for the 27 competing boats, a light wind start soon progressed into a 20 knot beat to the windward marks, once rounded a tornado built over the land then headed out to sea , taking out 2 boats in it’s path, one dis masted and the other OK. Seawolf avoided it’s path and flew along to a respectable 3rd place in class, a great result for a crew who had never sailed together...
